I graduated in 1995 from Xavier University with my Bachelor degree and in 1998 from IUPUI with my Master of Social Work. In 2017, I began my journey as an EMDR clinician and am now a certified clinician, consultant and coach. I also hold a special certification in Attachment-Focused Trauma work and am currently working on a trauma-informed yoga teacher training certification.
I enjoy guiding people as they’re healing from trauma, whether it’s early attachment trauma or more recent ‘shock’ trauma. I use EMDR and other holistic approaches that focus on the connection between the mind and body including yoga and somatic experiencing, into my therapeutic practice.
My greatest joy as a therapist is when I witness clients release their shame and fears, their most limiting beliefs, when they drop into their hearts fully and finally see themselves as whole, healthy and enough, just as they are.
I have experience working with individuals of all ages, but specialize in working with teens and young adults through middle age. I have worked with the general population, as well as with specialized populations such as immigrants, refugees, LGBTQ+ individuals, and ethnic and religious minorities.
My goal is to come alongside you, to provide a safe and nurturing environment infused with curiosity and compassion, as you embody your whole and integrated Self.
