E. Teale Rutledge Annen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who takes a client-driven and strengths-based approach to help her clients resolve their unique challenges and feel “unstuck.” She is passionate about meeting clients where they are and helping them achieve their goals – as they work through depression, anxiety, trauma and beyond. Teale is trained to help clients manage and conquer their individual struggles by using a number of evidence-based tools, therapies and treatments – including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema therapy, solution-focused and task-centered therapies, and motivational interviewing.
Teale works with clients as a therapist at Renewed Hope Counseling Services and as a clinician at Midtown Community Mental Health Center, where she focuses her time working with clients in individual and group settings. Previously, Teale was a care coordinator for Midtown Community Mental Health Center and completed her practicum at Valle Vista Health System, where she worked with adolescent girls, and Midtown Community Mental Health Center, where she worked in the crisis intervention unit.
Teale graduated magna cum laude with her master’s degree in social work from Indiana University, and cum laude with bachelor degrees in psychology and Spanish from the University of Indianapolis. Teale currently lives in Greenwood and enjoys playing with her German Shepherd, Nova.
